For girls on birth control: would you stay on it, relationship or not?!

Question: For girls on birth control: would you stay on it, relationship or not?
I got out of a relationship about a month ago. But I'm still staying on my pill because of lighter periods. Anyone else would do the same here?

Answers:

Yes. I have been on the Pill since 2008 and stay on regardless of whether I'm in a relationship or not. It regulates my period, so I like it.

I stayed on it for eleven years, in and out of relationships, before I went off to have my son. I started taking them at 16 because of menstrual migraines. It just made sense to stay on them - My headaches were better, I had lighter periods, and I always assumed there was another sexual relationship somewhere in my future, so I might as well keep the protection going.

Absolutely. The pill helps regulate your cycle and helps with cramps and acne. And say you get into another relationship you will already be on birth control and not have to start all over since it takes a month or so to work.

yep. for me i have less period pain, virtually no PMS, lighter periods and i know exactly, down to the hour when im going to get my period.

Yep. I would. There are many benefits if you stay on birth control. Less acne, lighter periods, etc.

Yes. You never know what couple happen and a lot of girls take it to help regulate their periods.
