Me too haha. One day I feel really happy and the day before I'm just like sad. What I do is stay home and generally avoid my friends and family because I might snap at them when they don't deserve it (unless I have school, then I won't be a drama queen and skip).
I also listen to music and eat chocolate. Chocolate releases happy hormones (and most hormones aren't the sexual kind we think of :)
And exercise does too!
When I had bad days during my period sometimes I would take a hot bath and what the heck even throw in some bubbles if you want but the heat helps if you are having cramps. Sometimes you might want to put a heating pad on your abdomen and watch tv or read your favorite magazine or book it helps take your mind off of feeling bad. And sometimes a good nap might even help you will feel refreshed and it even helps if you have a headache. And if you need extra help you can always talk to your mom or a good friend.
If you have cramps, place a hot water bottle on your tummy and curl up in a blanket and watch a movie, this is what i do when i have mine. Dont let periods stop you from doing your usual daily routine. You can still go swimming with a tampon in, you can play sports. Everything you used to do, you can still do. Periods just show you that you are developing into a woman and that your body is healthy.
