Period! ( Very bad pain period )?!

Question: Period! ( Very bad pain period )?
Ok last night i started the period pain (cramps ). I am still in so much agony. The period flow has started this morning. I have been taking pain killers but yet my stomach still pains a lot. Since i started the period at 13 years old i have always had the worst period pains you can ever imagine. The pain is so bad that i cannot wear a tampon inside so i wore the pads. I have the heavy period flow and have to change the pad every 2 hours. I can't get up from bed and do my normal activities. It is even trouble some to go to toilet and to take shower. Can some one guide me and tell me what pain killers i should be taking now? I also vomit while i am on my period and i don't know if that is due to the pain killers which i consume. Since i woke up i have took 2 paracetamols with 500 Mg each in one tablet.

I don't know what to do but i feel like crying because of the pain.

Answers:

So sorry that you feel bad!! I know your pain. I have had severe Endometriosis since I was 15. Every month (that I actually have a period) I deal with horrid, hard to get rid of pain. First of all, you always want to get these things checked out by a doctor. With that being said: I will tell you what I do to relieve cramps. I am against pain killers beyond Ibuprofen. So I take 800mg of it every 6 hours or so. I also use a heating pad or hot water bottle (place it on your lower abdomen). Hot showers are also very good. Another good thing is to drink "hot" drinks. I usually drink hot lemon water (fresh lemons) with honey in it. The vomiting you are experiencing is most likely from the pain killers. Or possibly, sheer pain. My last trick is kind of personal to talk about, but my GYN actually recommended it, so I will tell you - Masturbation. Anyways, I hope that this helps you and I hope you feel better soon! Best wishes.

yeah, see your doctor, that what they are for..

i heard that chocolate and lots of hotwaterbottles around your tummy and execising helps. [ i doubt you would even think about exercising in the pain you have]

hope it stops hurting so bad =]

Go see your doctor as soon as possible and if he/she does not seem to help ask for a second opinion. You should not be suffering like this and you should certainly not be self medicating with painkillers.

Get yourself to the doctors

you should go to doctor.
