Question: I get cramps in my lower tummy area, but i don't know what it is?

well, i'm thirteen, i haven't started my periods yet, it comes about every month, any ideas? its like one spot on each side, but near the middle(ish). It wakes me up at night and hurts quite a lot and i get funny looks from people when i'm out and about because i will gasp in pain, please help! it lasts about two minutes, like a cramp but goes away. i will get this every so often for about four days:/

It's possible that you WILL get your period in the near future, and it's just leading to it in that form.
Either that, and I'm not trying to make you uncomfortable, or sound off, but.
It could just be gas also, depends on w/e you ate at the time.
^ It's a possibility... You do eat every day. (Hopefully.)

This is normal for women especially before and during menstrual periods.
