Taking birth control late then sex?!

Question: Taking birth control late then sex?
Me and my girlfriend had sex and she was on her sugar pills 2 days after her period. When i started to ejaculate she didnt get off in time and some sperm got in her (Not a lot, not to be graphic, but 1 shot. I was able to pull out for the rest. This is her 2nd month taking the pill and shes almost dont with her pack. I told her because i thought it was the right thing to do, and she got furious with me. She is now scared because she was late on a pill by an hour earlier in the month. I know its always possible to get a girl pregnant, thats not what im asking. What I'm asking is, should we both worry for a whole month or are we okay? (I know, I'm an Idiot)

Answers:

If she is late taking a pill (3 hours in combination pills and 1 hour in mini-pills) she needs to use backup protection for 7 days after she starts taking the birth control on time again. So, if this happened more than a week ago, she is protected.

When I got on birth control, my doctor told me to wait 3 months to have sexual contact with anyone because that's when it is safe. Two months isn't very long, and her body might not be reacting to the birth control yet, depending on what kind she is on. Since she was late on taking it, she should really take the morning after pill to make sure there is no pregnancy.
