How tall am I going to be? Please answer, 10 points?!?!

Question: How tall am I going to be? Please answer, 10 points?!?
Okay, I am a bit concerned about my height, so please answer, I really don't want answers that say "I don't know" or "Who cares" because I do care, because so far the doctors have been wrong.

My mother is 5'7.5" and my father is 5'8".
My paternal grandparents were 5'3" (Grandmother) and 5'4" (Grandfather) at their younger age.
My maternal grandparents are 5'6" (Grandmother) and 5'11" (Grandfather) at their younger age.
My uncles are 5'5"(paternal), 6'1", and 6'3" (maternal)
I drink about 5 glasses of milk a day on average, sometimes more, and it's always skim.
I am currently 5'5", I'm 14 (Birthday 14 January 1997), and my doctor's have been wrong so far about my height.

I got my period in the middle of fifth, and they said I would stop growing at 5'0".
I've been growing an inch a year, but I've been growing a lot faster recently.
I was 5'4.1" in October 2010, and now 5'5" in March 2011. They said I would stop growing, once again, at 5'4.1" I don't know if they are just wrong, or if they really don't know.
So, what's going on? I've always been one of the tallest girls in my school, and I want to know what my potential height is. I'm a vegetarian, but I drink a lot of milk and eat a lot of peanut butter (lol)
Please and thank you in advance. :)

Well, in my opnion, you are NOT short!! I mean, that's taller than me by a few inches Lol.

I dont think they can REALLY predict how --->certain<--- your height is going to be. But you're still really young and growing, I'm hoping I'll grow taller LOL, I feel I've grown an inch since 3rd grade.

You're family seems to be mostly tall, and you're drinking a lot of milk (idk if peanut butter has anything to do with this LOL) so you're pretty good for your age.

Potential height? I couldn't tell you. I think you'll get taller by at least a couple inches.

Well on this height predictor, it appears you'll be about 66 inches. Which is about 5'6. It is likely that you will grow taller though. There is no certain height that anyone can say you will be exactly. You can probably expect one or two more inches of growth. But don't worry if you want to be taller or something. I'm older than you, and you're already taller than me by a couple of inches, since you're 5'5.

Only your genes know how tall you are going to be. 5'5" is not very tall for an adult and men usually later at hitting puberty then women and therefore are shorter. I know that this was said before, but it is true.

Unfortunately, no one can tell. Your doctor is the best guess but it can only be a guess. Your height comes from your DNA, a complex gigantic genome made up of dominant and recessive genes. When you get to take biology, listen to the genetics section and what they tell you is only a small fraction of the complexities of genetics. So no one will be able to tell you. We can tell you that you have the potential to grow until about the age of 16, but no one can tell you your height.

Why are you so worried about your height?? Does it really matter how tall you are? People will like you if you are ten feet tall, it doesn't matter, what matter's is your personality, if you go around worrying about trivial stuff like that, you will die at a young age worrying. Worry not, You will not be a giant, it would have shown already. You will not be a dwarf. You will be a beautiful person, stop worrying, life is too short. Eating and drinking is not going to change your growth. Be thankful for who you are.

I don't think there is a way to tell exactly how tall you will be. Only ways to estimate. Remember once you stop growing you will be that height the rest of your life. 5'5 is not tall for an adult at all. You may feel tall now, but the other girls will eventually catch up and the guys will tower over you. Guys don't usually hit their max height until later than a girl does, so girls are typically taller for a little while.

As a female you will continue to grow until you are 21-22 years.Your doctor must not have been in school when they talked about height if he can't tell you this Or, if you have a serious ailment he might be using that as a reference.Keep eating calcium rich foods and your bones will stay healthy so they grow properly.Your full height may be 5' 9" to 6' when you are in your 20's. Each generation is usually 3-6" taller then the previous. ;)
