How exactly does sperm travel through the vagina while having sex?!

Question: How exactly does sperm travel through the vagina while having sex?
I know this might seem like a stupid question especially for someone of my age to be asking this but over the years I kind of forgot what I was taught in high-school, I know the basic gist of it in that the vagina contracts around the penis during sex and when the person ejaculates that it spreads threw her vagina and travels towards the eggs and that only one out of the many sperm that is released into the vagina will survive during this process. but how exactly does this happen during sex?

Answers:

Well when a guy ejaculates in a girl, the sperm "swim" up the vagina and into the cervix because the have "tails" called flagella's on them. It's said the be about 1 million sperm enter the vagina but usually only one can actually penetrate the female egg.

They swim they have (cilia) one hair that they use to propel them.Weaker ones will die only one is needed.
