I need help trying to get rid of stretch marks.?!

Question: I need help trying to get rid of stretch marks.?
I'm 16 years old, and as weird/funny as it sounds I have these stretch marks all over my butt area. It starts on the side, and works its way all around. At first, I thought I was getting weird tan lines, but no. I've had these probably since I was around 13.I'm quite skinny. I'm not really chubby at all, and I want to know why do I have these stretch marks, and how can I get rid of them?

I feel very insecure about this because I am a swimmer, and its embarrassing to wear a swimsuit, and be the only girl with all these stretch marks on the side of my upper thighs and above. I would really like to wear a bikini..

Please and thank you! :)

Answers:

Stretch marks usually comes from 1 of 3 things:
1. growth spurt
2. weight gain / loss
3. pregnancy

Unless you go to get them removed by laser from a doctor, you will have to do like the rest of us and use the cremes that are over the counter. I have used 2 different products that have helped reduce the visibility of the marks. One is a bit pricey; Mederma for stretch marks (around 25 bucks) and the other is fairly cheap; Palmer's Massage Lotion for stretch marks (around 6 bucks).

Hope this helps a little.

that's normal for girls to get as their hips spread and they start storing fat in those areas during puberty. stretch marks don't really look that bad, and having some fat and cures in that area looks really good, so it's worth the trade off in most cases.

i have the same problem.! but i have been doing some research they are not gunna go away their gunna stay but you can use things to make them not as noticleble like cocoa butter or baby oil.! & it is prolly bcuse when you had ur growth sprout you get taller so ur skin streched .! good luck.!
