My mom and sis started at age 10.
I ahve had boob since 2nd grade. (I am in 6th)
I have had a hairy hairy part since mid third grade, early fourth.
I have had pit hair since 3rd grade.
I have had discharge since hmm....... mid 4th grade!
I hate it! I am so sick of being scared I will be red, and stuff. When will I start? The physicians said 1-6 monthes! IT HAS BEEN 2 AND A HALF YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…

Everyone starts periods on their own timetable. Recently there have been studies showing that many girls are getting the secondary sex signs (boobs, genital and underarm hair, etc) way early, but they are not starting their periods til later. It is normal to start anywhere from 9-10 to 15-16. You have apparently spoken to your Doctor, and he has found nothing wrong, so be patient. After it starts, you may wish it hadn't! LOL! If you are concerned you may be caught off guard, place a pantyliner type pad in a closed pocket of your purse, your back pack or whatever, so you can relieve that anxiety.

hmm i was the same way, only i didnt want to ever get my period, just the idea of it and stuff, ugh, but anyways, i didnt get it until i was 16. i was a late bloomer and it sucked cuz i was constantly worrying if i'll get it in class one day and be embarrassed. I think you'll be able to tell before you get it though. A big hint for me was cramps, i never experienced anything like it before so it felt weird and stuff so i explained it to my mom where she let me know it might be it and wat do you know, next day i got it. but you're 12, there's chicks who don't get it until well like me, 16 or even 17!. best advice i can tell you is just to always have a pad in your bookbag or purse just in case. it never hurts to be prepared =)

I felt the exact same way when I was your age. I wanted my period SO badly and yet it would never come. I had just turned 13 when I got my period, however I had been developed since I was 10.
If you continue to stress out about it, it can DELAY your period from starting! Take it one day at a time, and tell yourself that yes, it WILL come soon. If you have no received it by the time you start High School, I would talk to your doctor again just to be safe.
Enjoy being the way you are right now :). Your period, which may seem glamorous right now, is a pain later on in life! I hope I made you feel better!

Relax and be happy that ur not on ur period cause u wont be so happy when you get ur period, your going to start having cramps and going to the restroom everty time to change ur pad. I started when i was 12 but my friends started when they were 16 years old. Everyone is different.
Also why r u scared? Just carry a pad with you in ur purse. Its simple

it will come when its ready.! im 12 an have my period trust me you dont want it, i realy was getting frustrated because i wasnt getting mine, but when i got it i hated it.!!! so just be happy you dont have urs an enjoy the time you dont.! k? k!
