What is a yeast infection ? ?!
Question: What is a yeast infection ? ?
Answers:
If we're talking about a vaginal yeast infection:
The vagina and outer areas have yeast and bacteria on and in them normally. They are good! However, sometimes, the bacteria that are good and meant to keep the yeast at bay and in balance are killed off for some reason (maybe taking strong antibiotics because you're ill from something else). This causes the yeast to multiply too much, and usually results in itching, some smell, and sometimes burning and excretion of the 'white stuff'.
Its a bacterial infection of the vagina.
It's a bit like having a Cheese Factory running downstairs, when you shouldn't.
