Answers:

Your vagina should smell clean but musky, it will change throughout your menstrual cycle but it should never smell bad – having bad odour may be a symptom of a vaginal infection.

Your vagina is self-cleaning – discharge cleans-out bacteria and dirt, your vagina also naturally has an acidic pH to help kill off harmful bacteria while still allowing healthy bacteria to thrive – thanks to all this your vagina is actually cleaner than your mouth. But things can go wrong.

If anything throws off natural bacterial balance – i.e. ‘bad’ taking over from ‘good’ – then it can cause short-term odour such as if you haven’t showered all day, but if that balance is thrown-off in a major way it can lead to infections...and bacteria causes odour. If you smell bad often see your doctor to run tests to make sure everything is healthy or get treated if you have an infection.

To stay clean use water only, then use your hands to clean between your labia. No soaps, washes, wipes, etc. as these are all bad for your vaginal health/hygiene as these can kill off healthy bacteria as well as effect pH so change bacterial balance that way too – plus they can be drying/irritating to your genitals, and toxins from such products have a more direct route into your body via the mucosa that make up the tissues of your genitals.

The same goes for so-called ‘feminine’ washes as although they claim to be ph balanced they can never match your individual vaginal pH or how your pH changes throughout your cycle – these products are made to make money out of women’s insecurities. Douches are also a BIG no-no because as well as effecting pH they can wash out discharge so dry-out vaginal walls leaving them open to damage and infection increasing risks like STD risk, and can force harmful bacteria further up into your uterus where it can lead to Pelvic Inflammatory Disease.

Some tips to keep smelling healthy down below;
Healthy diet, practice safer sex, wash daily, avoid wearing panty liners, if you use pads during your periods switch to cotton or cloth is even better, if you use tampons during your period switch to menstrual cups or softcups, avoid tight-fitting or synthetic clothing, walk about often to help air flow to your genitals, and wipe front to back.

go to the doctor thats prob the best thing you can do you could have bacterial vaginiosis - or whatever its called, so they can prescribe you with some antibiotics.
