Tampons, aren't going in?!
Question: Tampons, aren't going in?
So i think i a have Septate hymen, this maybe a bit gross...
So i look in the mirror and open like the lips and there's a really small hole right at the bottom of the lips (i think its hole, and by really small a bout 1cm ish) then above there's a piece of skin (its kinda thick) and then if a move it to the side it looks like there's a hole there and then on the other side looks like there's a hole there. I have a few questions
could this be a Septate hymen?
What would the hole like thing be?
What If i am wrong and i go to the doctors?
Could it be something else?
Does any one have this?
How do i ask my mum to take me or drop me?
Or since we live close to the shops and stuff should i say i am meeting my friend and then go to the doctors by my self??
Please help! i want to use tampons :(
Thank you sooo much
Answers:
no, you don't have a septate hymen. the piece of skin with a tiny hole, is your vagina hole. when you put a tampon in, or have sex this hole stretches painlessly. you say you can't get tampons in, but i was exactly like you when i first tried, i couldn't get them in. first, relax.. i know everyone says it, but it really works. take a few deep breaths before insertion and 2) get plastic applicator tampons. I tryed non-applicator at first and they were impossible to insert and still are. plastic applicators slide right in, and you can't feel a thing.
if i was you i'd get tampax pearl. the lite ones are best for beginners because they are smallest.when i tried them and they worked i was so happy that there was nothing wrong with me. just relax, you can do it hun. and don't worry about a doctor or anything.
Have you asked your mom or older sister to help you? To help you the doctor will charge you an office visit to break your hymen $50 to $70. You can break it yourself. If you do, Wash your hands, have a number of small clean soft rags to pack in the opening to stop the bleeding and put a clean pantyliner on your pantues,
Soon you will use tampons with ease.

that "piece of skin" is a little penis.
