I am not losing weight! HELP!?!

Question: I am not losing weight! HELP!?
I'm 24 yrs old female. I'm 5'1 and 126 lbs. I have been on 1200 calories a day meal plan eating salads, grilled chicken, fruits, walnuts, oatmeal. I exercise 5 days a week... lifting hand weights and interval training on the treadmill. its been three weeks and i have not lost a damn pound. my blood tests show that my thyroid is normal so i'm not sure what i'm doing wrong. but nothings changing in my body!!

help! i want to lose like 10 lbs.

Answers:

are you SURE your eating 1200 calories? try looking at what your eating aGAIN and keep portion in mind.
how long have yo been eating 1200 calories? some times your body slowls down and AJUSTS to what your eating. maybe try eating 2000 calories for about 2-3 days then go back down.

you could alos be burning fat but building muscle. lifting weights will make you GAIN weight, and so will hard core running. so if your after weightloss, try WALKING on the treadmil, at speed 3-4 for about an hour or so.

in a couple of more weeks your weight should relaly start dropping.

keep up the work and good luck to you!!

I don't believe you need to loose weight especially 10 pounds. You are around the exact weight that you should be for your height.Don't get me wrong it is still good to exercise regularly to help you stay healthy and physically fit , i do no think that loosing weight should be a concern for you. You are a healthy 24 year old woman. I know this probably didn't answer your question but i do still hope that it helps you in a different way.
good luck

Hi:)

Maybe you gained muscle but lost fat? Remember, the bathroom scale is stupid; it cannot tell the difference between fat and muscle. Instead, try a measuring band. Measure stomach, thighs, bum etc. and keep record of the results:)
