having a period is natural so the white shorts wouldn't be so bad but getting turned on while hugging your best guy friend would be very awkward and embarrassing.

I don't know how someone would get so wet that they would notice while hugging..that sounds a little out there lol.
I would say the white shorts is way worse.

I'd rather leak through white shorts than have my best guy friend, of ALL people, knew I got wet hugging him. Talk about awkward!
