I've been on the pill for about 2 years. For the past year or so, I haven't had much of a sex drive.
Could the pill be the cause of this? Seems weird that it didn't start to affect me until 1 year after I started on it.

I think some side effects say something about decreased sex drive. I've been on the pill for three years and about six months ago i started to decrease with my sex drive. Look at the side effects or talk to your doctor for more information. Hope this helps!
Yes it has side effect. You shouldn't have took it.
