Question: Excuse for Skipping Medical Checkup?

Uhmm okay, im pregnant and my school has this medical checkup compulsory for all students. I really cant tell the school or my family, and since im going for an abortion in mid march, i need a reason to postpone my medical checkup for school to late march. Anyone has any ideas? (i cant tell my school im pregnant!!!!)

Can't you get a note from the doctor or someone at the place you will be getting your procedure at saying that you cannot have a check up at that time since it will interfere with your medical care? Maybe they could be vague like that and you won't have to explain any deeper what is going on.

Why don't you just tell your school councilor? Everything that you tell them has to stay confidential so you wouldn't have to worry about anyone else knowing and I'm sure they will be able to excuse you from the checkup.
