Question: Tampon help! please!!!?
Before you say i don't have a sister and me and mum aren't very close and its really awkward, asking her things...
So i think i a have Septate hymen, this maybe a bit gross...
So i look in the mirror and open like the lips and there's a piece of skin (its kinda goes across the hole witha little bit danging under it) and if i move it to the side (the piece of skin) it looks like there's a hole there and then on the other side looks like there's a hole there. I have a few questions
could this be a Septate hymen?
What would the hole like thing be?
What If i am wrong and i go to the doctors?
Could it be something else?
Does any one have this?
HOW do i ASK my mum to take me or drop me?
Or since we live close to the shops and stuff should i say i am meeting my friend and then go to the doctors by my self??
Please help! i want to use tampons :(

I believe a lot of girls have that, sounds normal. Try inserting a tampon and if it doesn't work then walk up to your mom and be like "Hey mom, I can't seem to get a tampon in, there is something blocking it that doesn't seem like it is supposed to be there. I think I probably should get it checked out, can you take me to the doctors?"
yes it definetly sounds like a septate hymen. you can go to a doctor to check it up and confirm it and there are pics on the net you can search that too. septate hymens are rare and i doubt you can get a tampon in there, therefore i also doubt that you can get a penis in there either. It would be very painful for you, more painful than the average woman and from what i know, there is surgery to correct just like what they do for a imperforate hymen. good luck. for now, i sugget you just use pads. i used to want to wear tampons but in my culture i can't afford to break my hymen so just in case i use pads.
