As someone suggested you might consider speaking to your mother. If you are not okay talking to mom, you might speak to the school nurse. If you have any itching or burning you may have a bit of an vaginal infection. Often times one you start your period you will have a discharge or odor from your period, not to worry, it does happen to all women. You said you used Vaginal. If it was the cream it will not work. You might try using the douche. The direction will tell you how to use it. Most women douche after the have their period. You do not want to douche too often because it changes the pH balance and that too can create problems. Your idea of going to Planned Parenthood or your local Health Department is an excellent idea. The can examine you to be sure you have no infection. The nurse there will explain to you how to douche. Growing up is tough and you meet issues at every turn. I strongly suggest you open up the lines of communication with an older female in your family, so that as other female issues arise you can turn to that woman to guide you God Bless Reggie

Planned Parenthood will probably ask for a small fee for you to be seen. See if there are other "free clinics" in your area.

I can't imagine that you've had a vaginal infection for a year that hasn't gotten worse.

Otherwise, the only thing I can think of is to check your underwear: Wear cotton panties or panties with a cotton crotch--it helps air circulate, keeps you dryer, and helps prevent odor developing. Also make sure that your panties are well fitted--if they're too small, that can create more sweating, more odor which just grows.

Push come to shove, try using panty liners daily to help keep you dry. The dryer you are, the less likely odors will grow. Avoid the liners with perfumes or dyes in them--they'll likely make the problem worse, not better.

Well you know it is not an STD. That is great. I am not a female but it could be.
1. a yeast infection (but usaly you will have itching with it)

2. If i was you I would talk to your mom. I am sure she might have exprinced what you are going thew. I know it. is a ocward topic to talk about but atleast you will know.

3. If your friends can smell it are they just saying that to lie to you because you can't smell it. if it is a discharge just smell the discharge and see if you can smell it? If you can't they are lying to you.

4.I HAVE heard of people that produce a certain smell because of what they eat. If your eating fish try to stay away from it for awhile.

5. I think it is good that your going to the planned parenthood they can give you better advice than most people. If you can try to consult a gyno.

I would talk to your mom or grandma or a woman figure in your life that you trust and take you to your regular doctor. If you really haven't had sex or done anything sexual than there is nothing to hide or be ashamed of. Good Luck

Try a folic acid 800mg vitamin, may sound strange but it really helps. I had the same problem ...
