ok here's my situation I have been with my girlfriend for about a year before she became pregnant, I'm 25 and she's 21. We now have a 6 month old son,
like I said she became pregnant 1 year after we officially became a couple, NOW I don't want to stay committed to her nor do I want her to move in with me, I have my own 2 bedroom apt and she is still living at home
the problem that I have is how is it possible that me and her were having sex for 1 FULL YEAR without condoms (that is because she promised me she was on the pill) and then OH WHAT A SURPRISE she's pregnant...after almost 12 months of me busting in her she never got pregnant, now she wants everything for me to become husband of the year that's not gonna happen because I feel like it was her responsibility make sure she took her pill every day
I TOOK HER WORD WHEN SHE PROMISED SHE WAS ON THE PILL
she said she did take it every day....
SO my question is if you are on the pill and take it accordingly, what are the chances that you will end up pregnant

The pill is not 100 percent effective. Antibiotics, grapefruit and other things can make the pill not work. Even going off schedule can make the pill not work.
It might not be her fault. Bottom line is simple. Unless at least one of you is sterile, there is a chance of pregnancy every time you have sex. There is no getting around that fact.
How about you be a man and accept the responsibility that goes with the risk you took.
She might have lied. But then again, she might not have lied. Doesn't matter now. You have to live with the consequences. Don't have sex if you don't want the risk.
Think of your son before yourself.
The chances of her getting pregnant are not even 1% even if you have sex every day. She may not have been taking it the right times or forgot to take it once and didn't tell you. Don't accuse her of anything but be sure to talk to her about it more.
1% ? but if she happens to forget to take the pill then that will really decrease the percentage. So now you have a kid. you are the father. You going to totally abandon it? No matter what, you are the father, unless you think she had sex with someone else. Marry the girl and be a happy family unit. Whats so wrong with that. Your son needs this.
shes full of crap. i know girls just like that! they lie and then get pregnant maybe she knew u didnt want to be with her forever so she tried to suck u in with her forever..get rid of her shes sneaky. a whole year went by, the pill worked for her otherwise she would have got pregnant before i know 2 people that happend to but less then 2 months they got pregnant.

you can get pregnant on the pill...trust me..I know u shouldnt be saying things like that unless you know 4sure...I mean u might not like her or find her atractive ne more..thats fine get away from her but u still have to be a father to the child anyway..I mean so what if u dont wanna be husband of the year...so what if u dont wanna get married....you had sex with her so this is yours too...not just hers...I know u can get pregnant on the pill bc it happend to me....was she on ne anti-biotics b4 getting pregnant???? that can lower how the pill works....if she got pregnant on the pill what u need to do is thank God u have a healthy baby...bc that could have cause some birth defects even if it was for a short while....all I'm sayin is you shouldnt be judgemental of her...it might have no been her fault at all...
