Question: Will taking one antibiotic for a UTI effect the pill all together? or will i still be safe?
I'm on microgynon pill. I took one antibiotic on the 7th feb when i felt i was getting a UTI, I then had my period the 8th of feb, then was supposed to start my new pill packet on sat but was a day late and took it on sunday late instead. I thought one antibiotic wouldnt put me at risk, so didnt use extra protection, now im thinking i could be 4 weeks pregnant and i was sick this morning exactly on week 4, and i was just wondering if this is a bug? or worse... my next period is due on 8th march.

I went to the doctors last week and the doctor asked if I new the anti biotics would stop my pill from working an I should have used protection 7 days after aswell. I was so shocked and started to panic as I didnt know any of this. take a preg test bt im sure u shud be fine I was on them for a week an didnt use protection,
