Question: What's a woman's vaginal mucous/ejaculate supposed to smell like?

Whenever I mess around with my girlfriend, she's always self-conscious of her smell down there. I don't know why. But, I have to admit that the women I've had sex with in the past all have different scents/tastes down there and I understand that. What I don't understand is that I hear some women talking about how they smell strawberries, or citrus, etc. downstairs. Is that possible? On the contrary, I've smelled the 'fishy' scent as well haha. What causes that? And how do I help my girlfriend to understand that I'm not disgusted by her?

They can all smell different. As long as it's not... well, disgusting-smelling, it's pretty normal.

I had a problem with letting my now-fiance poke around down there... keep reassuring her. It takes time, but she'll get more comfortable with it. If nothing else, there are wipes women can buy to take care of the smell... if she honestly thinks it's that bad, that's an option too. I would just be very, very patient with her.

You have to tell her and show her. Convince her you are telling the truth, you should know how to make this clear to her. If she doesn't believe you then I guess there is nothing for you to do. Just leave it that way...so what?
The normal scent is not much of anything...but a clean smell...not repulsive...
