Need advice about birth control pill oops!?!

Question: Need advice about birth control pill oops!?
Ok, I am currently on Ortho-Cycle. I lost my frikin pills two weeks in this pack. Looked everywhere, couldn't find them, so I just started a new pack from the first. (Coincidentally it was a Sunday) lol. Anyway, I am still on the active pills in my new pack but I am having my period like I should have.
My question is, when the sugar pills in this pack are suppose to be taken, I will have already had my period...and it will be between the 10th and 15th day of my cycle. That's when your body is suppose to ovulate! What are the chances, since I won't be on the active pills, that my body will ovulate? Sorry so long, but I kinda need to figure this out.

Answers:

I wish you would have asked this question right after you lost your pack and before you started the new one. Now that you have started the new one and you are taking the regular pills during your period you risk screwing your cycle up. This could cause the pill to be less effective.
The safest thing to do would be to throw out the pack you are on now and start on a new one after you finish your period. If you don't do this - yes, you risk getting pregnant during the week that you are taking the iron pills & you will really have screwed your cycle up. Until your cycle is definitely working properly you should use alternate forms of contraception. I know it seems like a big waste of pills but really, you should just wait until your period ends and then start a new pack if you want to be completely safe and stay on your monthly cycle.
