Well, the P stands for PRE, so I would think so.. Even though I'm still grouchy as hell when I'm on my period..
The term PMS is misleading. Different women may suffer from problems at different points in their cycle. The woman who invented the term PMS suffered from problems just before her period, and so that's what she wrote about. Those are the women she studied. That is the condition she named. But other women have problems DURING their period, for example. So in your case, your PMS begins and ends when it begins and ends for you. The other women's situations do not apply to you necessarily. So keep a diary for a few months in which you track your mood. You could give yourself a score on mood from 1 to 10, and then after a few months, graph it and see if you can see a pattern. Is there a certain time of the month when you feel better, and another time when you feel worse?
