After the start of menstrual cycle does the girl child stop growing in height ?!

Question: After the start of menstrual cycle does the girl child stop growing in height ?
I have a daughter , aged 10, who just started her menstrual cycle. As she is just a child and have not attained her full height yet ( she is just 1500mm and we both parents are above 1600mm and 1700mm respectively ) is it natural that she would keep growing and uttaining her full height ? We as parents are worried because we were told that a girl stops growing in height after the start of her cycle. Please help .

Young women normally continue growing until the age of 17 or 18 but not as fast as they do before the age of 12. (Boys continue growing about 4 years longer than girls.) Doctors can measure the bones of the hand to help determine eventual adult height.

I kept growing after I started mine : ) so she will definitely continue growing

I think you are OK. Women usually hit a growth spurt in their mid teens.
