Should I get my thyroid retested?!

Question: Should I get my thyroid retested?
I had been having some issues for about a year, so I went to a clinic and asked them to check my thyroid. She did a blood test and it turns out that I am hypothyroid. I have been on levothyroxine for 7 months now, one of the problems i was having got somewhat better but I am still just gaining weight, irritable, dry skin, and a few other issues. I was rechecked last week and she said it is normal. Should I have it retested by en endocrinologist?

Answers:

You could have it re-checked for peace of mind if you feel it.
What I would do if I were you is cut out white sugar (sweets) and breads (white flour processed food) and increase raw veggies, raw nuts, fruits, chicken breast broiled, fish, tuna, eggs (from healthfood store), green salads, etc...if you eat excessive amount of junk food, seets, white flour foods etc...there will always be problems with either your thyroid, hair, nails, skin, and the rest of the ailments anyone can get is endless.
Diabetes, cancer, arthritis, alzheimers, parkinsons, MS, lupus diseases and many others have been cured by going on a raw food diet which isn't hard just takes time getting used to.
Watch the documentary films "A Poisoned World", "Food Matters" and "Simply Raw" you will greatly benefit and make wiser choices.
Hope this helped :)
