Does a fat burning or cardio session slow down the muscle growth from a previous!

Question: Does a fat burning or cardio session slow down the muscle growth from a previous weights session?
So I've been doing about 2 or 3 weight sessions per week. Trying to build up my upper body to gain a bit of muscle mass. I've also been doing some plyometrics which involves a lot of squats and jumps and leg presses. At the same time I am also eating normally with high protein and I have gained about 8 lbs in about 2-3 weeks! But I'm worried that this mostly fat so I wanna do some fat burning cardio exercises now.

So what I want to know is if I do solid cardio (like running 2-3 miles) on my off days (when I dont do weights) will this slow down my muscle growth? Any other advice for me?

Answers:

no silly. of course not. fatiguing muscles will force it to repair itself, and in that process, the muscle grows larger. not that you should exercise to the point of exhaustion, but just something to keep in mind.
