Question: Is it ok to take off of shool or work because of cramps and i feel sick (b/c of period)?
Answers:

i would say hell yes it is ok lol to me there is nothing worst i get really bad cramps that make me feel sick as hell i guess we should lean to deal with it but i don't want to i want to be at home in my PJ's in bed being lazy and just resting

Period cramps, etc can be absolute hell, and there is no point in going to school when this makes it impossible for you to concentrate.
However, looking at the longterm picture, you are going to miss out on so much and achieve so much less if your life stops every time you have a period. So if this keeps happening, try to find other ways of dealing with it. A lot of women find the following helpful: a hot water bottle (obviously not at school, but useful when you are at home; getting plenty of rest and sleep - so cancel the parties but try to get on with the work; evening primrose oil or cod liver oil (either, not both),
B-Complex tablets; drinking plenty of water; soya. None of these is a guaranteed cure, so if the problem continues, see your doctor. Sometimes the birth control pill can make a huge difference. Don't over react, on the other hand, don't believe anyone who says you just have to accept serious suffering once a month.

of course its okay! periods can cause all kinds of sickness. However, i wouldnt use that as your excuse to your employer.

it depends on the person and how bad it is, i never did that and i still dont

if you dont feel well enough to work, for whatever reason, then yes its ok to stay off

HEY!
I've heard of people who do.
So don't worry,
