It smells fishy down there!? Help?!?!

Question: It smells fishy down there!? Help?!?
So it's been smelling kinda fishy down there like a strong-ish oder. I dont know what to do. I don't want to tell my mom cause I'm to Embarrassed. Is it a yeast infection? If so what can I do to take it away? Besides by treatment in the store. I'm very clean. So what is it?

Answers:

If it has a fishy odor, hurts when you urinate, or/and itches down there, it could be a yeast infection or a urinary tract infection. But it is normal for someone's discharge to smell. Best to check your doctor or a local Planned Parenthood. They can effectively diagnose your problem by taking a urine test and/or pelvic exam.

I do NOT recommend douching at all. Your body needs it's own bacteria to protect from the bad germ. The best thing is to drink lots of water and if the smell is bothering you. Use the old soap and water.

Taken a biology human sexuality class.

Sometimes when your hormone levels increase, so does an aroma "down there". When you are about to start your period it can smell weird too. Unless its itchy, painful, or painful during urination, i doubt that you have a yeast infection. Sometimes certain soaps can irritate the walls of your vagina and cause a smell. Don't be embarrassed, that is what moms are for. go talk to her.

It could be a yeast infection. Or it's just normal if you just had you period, use a douch after every period, (it cleans all the stuff outa there) and them take a shower with feminin body wash. It should go away after that.

great,,,thanks loads...i was planning on going down on my gf tonight...and now this...i may never do it again....ughhh
