can colds make you have periods?!

Question: Can colds make you have periods?
I have had a cold for two days. today i have vaginal blood and cramps. did i get my period? ( i haven't got my period yet)

Answers:

Cold have nothing to do with having a period -
If you are having bleeding and have never had a period - this may be it !!
You didn't say how old you are -- but if you are between 11-16 - this may be your first period -
It is just a coincidence that it happened when you have a cold -
Hope you feel better -

Normal colds don't make you have periods. Don't know how old you are, but you may have started your first period. If you have any concerns talk with your mom, grandma, aunt, etc. Someone who is an adult and you you trust.

Ghee is right. Having a cold has nothing to do with your period. The arrival of your period at the same time as having a cold is pure co-incidence. Your period comes after you've ovulated.

well usually your first period dosent look like blood. but this could be it!
and i doubt that the cold had anything to do with it.
but goodluck (:

Not usually if its a simple cold. If you are seriously ill then yes, it could affect your cycle.
