Is the period tracker apps reliable? Also, can i learn how to put a tampon in wi!

Question: Is the period tracker apps reliable? Also, can i learn how to put a tampon in without pain in a week?
Will the bleeding stop when it says it will? Also is it possible for me to learn how to put a tampon in without pain in a week? How can i practice? How can you stretch out that area to make it less painful?

Answers:

In regards to the period tracker, I think it will be reliable, considering you are on a "normal" 28 day cycle. If your body varies from this at all, obviously it won't be as reliable. After a few months of you entering your own info, I'm thinking it will become more in tune to you. I just started "tracking" and was so fascinated with the predictors of ovulation and fertile window. However, I wouldn't trust it as a form of b/c, since that would be foolish. : ) Also, to answer your question about tampons. I tell my daughter (who is also learning) if it HURTS, it isn't in right. Take it out and place another one. Most likely you didn't get it in far enough. Tampons are truly painless and you shouldn't be able to feel them at all really. You'll get more comfortable over time.

Hi, i couldn't wear tampons at all until last week. i thought i was too "tight"
I tried the tampons with the non apllicator which you put in your self, and i couldn't walk or sit it was so painful! (i believe it wasn't in far enough)
but then last week on my holiday i was forced to wear tampons and bought the ones with applicator and believe me i couldn't even feel i had it in! you just follow instructions and it's easy.. will definitely use these in the future.

Hi again, Remember me lol? No, don't trust them, they are loads of um, poo, I should say! I've tried them and they are a no go!
I am 15 but I only started using tampons on my last period and you don't need practice! If you are a bit scared, put a bit of lubricating jelly on the actual tampon! This way, it slides in easier, it doesn't hurt, just relax. You have to put them in until about 3 quarters of your finger is up you jj. Then you don't feel it! I know on the tampon instructions it say insert it to the lower back, I didn't know what that meant so I'll narrow it down for you! Point it towards the end of the spine, that's what my mom told me. Hope I helped! Jess xoxo

Finding the right angle is the difficult part. You can move it around a little until you don't feel resistance and then push. Also, try to relax. This is very normal and tampons are made for this. Start with the ones with plastic applicators as they are easier to insert.
