What is depo? I have heard of it but dont know about it.?!

Depo-provera is a method of birth control. It's administered in an injection every 13 weeks at your doctor's office. It is an absolutely evil invention, and you should run screaming far, far away from it. The injection contains a steroid, which makes many people gain weight because of excessive hunger. Many women, myself included, start out having no periods, but after several injections end up bleeding for weeks to months at a time. If you're looking for something a little more long term than a daily pill, and something you don't have to remember every day, I would suggest you look into IUDs.

Depo is an injection that lasts a long time. Usually when you hear it said, people are talking about a contraceptive injection like Depo Provera that can last for several months, 3 I believe.

You can try it, the downside is that if it doesn't suit you for whatever reason, you're stuck with it for 3 months, but on the plus side, if it does suit you, you don't really have to think about birth control more then 4 times a year. Try it and see if you want.

If you are referring to the ampule vial Implant placed in the upper arm for birth control. This has has to be done by your doctor. You will need regular visits to your doctor for refills. This method has been available for many years. Of course not all forms of birth control are 100 percent guaranteed. The words sounds like { Deprovera.} This is not the correct spelling. It works by time released birth controlled medicine. I wish you the best in what decision you make.
