Why am I so sore and bleeding? ?!

Question: Why am I so sore and bleeding? ?
I have HPV (the kind that causes cancer and internal lesions, not the warts kind). Two days ago I found out that I have bacterial vaginosis. I've never had it before. That same evening my boyfriend and I had some pretty rough sex though we used a condom as we always do. Ever since then I have been VERY sore and raw feeling around my inner labia, though not on the inside. Earlier today I noticed a couple of small blisters in the most painful area. Also I have been bleeding ever since then too. It hurts so bad! I won't be able to see my doctor until Monday so in the meantime, what could be causing this and what can I do to soothe my pain?

Answers:

Having sex while having any kind of infection is a bad idea. But since the deed is done. Try taking some pain med. If you can sitz bath this will help wash the bacteria away from the vag and give some pain relief. Be careful if the water is to warm it can cause you to pass out.

I think that the bacterial vaginosis combined with the rough sex has irritated your 'lady parts' a bit.
In the meantime, I suggest a soak in a hot bath - but not too hot - and some advil. Maybe a bit of triple anti-biotic to relieve chafing and external irritation.
And be perfectly candid with your doctor - he or she will not be shocked.

You had sex with an active bacterial infection, of course you're sore and bleeding. Stop having sex until the infection clears up.

stop having sex all the time its only going to make it worse. Give your vag a rest. And take some tablets like one for period pain and stuff that might help!
