Is this normal after having sex for the first time?!

Question: Is this normal after having sex for the first time?
Right, earlier on today I had sex for the first time with my boyfriend, it hurt as he entered me but soon it was okay, but there wasn't really really a lot of pleasure for me, also I didn't hurt afterwards.
Is this normal for having sex the first time?
btw we are both 16 years old.

Answers:

Most first time experiences are awkward and uncomfortable. Whether or not there is pain depends on whether your hymen was intact, and how lubricated and ready you were for penetration. Trust me though, it gets better, provided you communicate what you like and he is willing to listen and experiment.

If you didn't orgasm prior to penetration, he needs to take care of that with you first, either orally or digitally. Otherwise, only one of you will leave satisfied. Very few women experience orgasms through penetration alone.

Good sex takes a lot of practice. The first time will always hurt a bit, but your pleasure from the act will come about from several sources.

1) Not being afraid of pregnancy, which means taking precautions every time and no exceptions.

2) Knowing which bits of you you like having touched, and being able to produce orgasm on yourself, so you know it's possible.

3) Teaching the bf where the places are, and this would be better at first through mutual masturbation, so you both get pleasure without the worry of babies.

4) Old fashioned love and long-term commitment, which you may be a bit young for.

I'm 17 and i lost mine about 3 months ago to my current boyfriend. It was a bit awkward for me too because it just felt a little bit rough. Plus you just don't completely know what to expect and entirely know what you are doing lol. There wasn't a lot of pleasure for me either particularly first time round either. It was good but not great. The second time round it was way better like.. "right, we've done it now, we are no longer virgins" so we felt a bit more comfortable and it was good. It lasted longer second time round and felt so much more amazing like it should. I expect you two will find your feet with sex pretty quickly, it's just first times are a little awkward. Don't worry, and have fun!! (while you're young and beautiful ;D)

experience :)

Will to me that is good on ur part that it didn't hurt after. But yes ever u have said is normal sometimes it hurts and sometimes it don't. I just hope u don't do it again, I'm 22 and I have two kids and its not fun at all. The first time u had sex I was younger than u and when I was 19 I had a baby and she is 3 and know I have a 7 month old. I'm with the 7 month old father and it not all lovely. All I'm trying to say be carefully I don't want any one that young to have to give up everything even having fun just BC u got pregnant

Yes, this is very normal. It wasn't pleasurable because you weren't ready. What you were having was sex, not making love...and there is a difference. Guys at this age don't know and really don't care if you're ready...they are just out for themselves. So you might want to give this some serious thought and possibly wait a while longer until you're a little older.

It can take years before it actually feels good to do it, the right partner, the right mindset and the right circumstances play a big part in it. Even as fully fledged adults it's often just a thing you do without much fun, I wouldn't worry at all that it wasn't like the movies, nothing ever is.

However, the first time did hurt but to my surprise the next time was fine and to be honest, .... Is it normal not to want sex after having a baby

That's normal. It will get better with time.
