Got my first period!!!???!?!?!?!?!

Question: Got my first period!!!???!?!?!?!?
Well yesterday I got my first period and it wasn't that much so didn't wear a pad. I haven't told my mum yet ( we're not close in that way lol) I was wondering if she would notice if I took her pads or if I could just use toilet paper if yes then how much.I'm going back to school tomorrow and don't know what to do.
Btw I'm 13 and 5'2. Soz for all the writing but very worried about not being prepared and all that lol:)

Answers:

Don't use toilet paper -- Been there, done that, doesn't work :L:L
On your way to school tomorrow, buy a packet from a corner shop or something, In the mean time, I dont think she'll notice if youu only take one or two pads (: (:
Hope this helped (: (:

Personal Experience, tbh.

girl. tell your mom. (: even though you may think that you aren't close enough to her to tell her, do it. you will need to tell her sometime. so why not get it over with now. and no. do not wear toilet paper as a pad. it might seem like there's a small amount of blood now, but it could be very heavy tomarrow. when a girl only uses toilet paper, it'll only be good for about 10-15 minutes, so that's definatley a no. just tell your mom and use normal sanitary pads.(: good luck girl and congrats on your first period! i still haven't gotten mine :( ahaa!

Use a real pad. Toilet paper isn't good enough, and you may risk of bleeding through your pants.

Tell you mom.. If she only buy pads for herself, but you're two people to use them, they might run out too soon, and that's no good for any of you suddenly not having any more pads. She will find out eventually, but she might not be happy about it if she only founds out when she gets her period, and doesn't have any pads to use...

just tell your mom. it's not like she's gonna laugh at you or get mad or anything. just be like "mom, i got my period yesterday." she'll understand. and if you don't want to talk about it, then just simply say "i know what it is, i just need some pads."
as for being prepared goes, take a wristlet or a small purse or something that you can put pads and stuff in and when you need to change your pad in school just take that to the bathroom with you. no one will suspect a thing. and if they ask, just say it's your wallet.
good luck!

well when you first get your period, sometimes there isnt a consistant pattern. you could have a very light flow for a day and then have a very heavy flow for another week. when my friend first got hers , she had it for 15 days straight. but the first time i had mine it only last 3 days. dont be worried. it is always best to be prepared, and untill you know how heavy your flow will be you probably shouldnt use toilet paper. i suggest telling your mom or another adult that you trust.

tell your mom and dont use toilet paper it has bacteria and its bad and when you tell her ask her if you could use some of her pads and listen to this : im 12 i haven t got my period and yet people always say i give helpful advice on these things lol PRAY for me that minw will come soon plz
HOpe i helped!!!! =D

knowledge lol

You have to tell her. If you dont want to, tell a teacher or the nurse. Heres an idea: Take just one pad tomorrow for school and when you get to school tell your teacher about your problem and then go to the nurse and ask for a pad Im pretty sure she'll give you a pad. Good luck

Just tell your mom. She'll understand and help you prepare for the next time.
You don't want to go to school unprepared, that's a disaster waiting to happen.

Congrats on you continuing walk to womanhood!

Tell your mum immediately when she's on her own.

You'll be embarrassed but she'll definitely understand and help you out.

you need to tell your mom your first period is a big deal and i am glad my mom was there for me someone who i could talk to about it x

Get some pads and tell your mom
