Can you overdose on the Contraceptive Pill?!

Question: Can you overdose on the Contraceptive Pill?
I'm currently on Femodette and i missed a pill last night.
I usually take my pills at 10pm every night and i forgot and just took the pill now, at 10pm, i was wondering if i take the pill that i should do usually at this time, would this affect me?
Thanks.
i know it's stupid, i'm just unaware.

You still need to take your 10 pm pill tonight, then continue with your other pills as scheduled. You should be completely fine! It is generally the rule that if you miss a pill, you need to take the one you missed as soon as possible then continue with your regular schedule.

It's not stupid you're just trying to be informed.Generally the rule with pills is to take the missed one as soon as you remember, then take the next one at the normal time, even if it means taking two pills in one day. I would usually get pretty nauseous when I did that, but not there's no overdosing effect from doubling up one day. The effectiveness of the pregnancy protection (assuming this is a regular combination pill, which maybe it's not, I don't know because I've never heard of that brand before) is going to go down to about 92% now and opposed to 99% until whenever your package insert specifies though (for example mine says I'll fully protected again after another seven days of perfect pill taking) but each brand recommends something a little different. So just look at the insert your birth control came with and use a backup method. If you need another package insert you can just ask a pharmacist for one, I always have one saved and in good condition that stays in my room and another one in my purse with my birth control. But in general, the package insert will always be the quickest most reliable resource for these questions in the future.

You won't overdose
Most birth control pills say in the packing to take the missed pill as soon as you remember,
however if you've missed multiple its a bit different

You can over dose on anything
