Does my period sound normal to you?!

Question: Does my period sound normal to you?
I have had my period for three years now, I got it when I was 15 and now i'm 18. It started off regular but then became semi regular- like it was around two weeks late every month. It continued like this for two years (once i had a period that lasted too long but that was only once). But since lasty October my period was a month and a half late, then i got it, and about 2 1/2-3 weeks later i got a strange period which was brown with a tiny bit of blood, it was lighter than my normal period and i didn't have any cramps. Now a month after that last weird one it's back to normal? I'm 18, and i am a virgin.

Answers:

it sounds a bit abnormal, but periods can change over time, and so many things can effect it.
if you haven't had any major change in your diet, weight, or stress levels, and you are worried about it go and see a doctor, there are some conditions that can cause irregular periods. if you want it to be more regular you can go on the pill.
