Bloody bowel movement?!

Question: Bloody bowel movement?
for the past 4 years(maybe more), i experienced anal bleeding. I was around 12 or 13 when it started. It was pretty light in flow, never painful, and bright red so it didnt resemble internal bleeding. I then started getting this yellowish discharge out of my anus that was fishy. This went on for years. I am 17 now but sometimes the blood flow is heavier but it still remains bright red with no pain. I also do not suffer from the discharge anymore. What could this be? I am ALWAYS constipated...i experience a normal bowel movement was every 2 weeks..if that! In between those times, im always straning myself. The reason i havent gone to a doctor is because of embarassment and i dont want critiscms from my mom or the dr on why i didnt go sooner. Well until i make an appointment, what does this condition sound like?

there is only blood when I wipe usually

Answers:

You are bleeding likely because of the constipation. You need to eat more fibre and drink more water and do NOT strain when you use the bathroom. You might have an anal fissure or something like that. A visit to the doctor is warranted, and don't be embarrassed, they've seen it all before.

Straining during a bowel movement creates hemorrhoids. That could account for the bright red blood. You really should see a colo/rectal surgeon. This is not normal.

sorry im not sure. tell the doctor
