I used the IUD for 20 years almost. Yes, that happened sometimes. Usually was pink before and then some brown afterward (hated that!) But remember that IUDs can make it easy to get an infection. If this did not happen before, if it smells bad, if you have itching or burning then it is time to see a doctor or nurse.
