Question: Birth Control Symptoms?
I was due to start on Jan 30th (a Sunday so I would have started my new BC that day). I was late and on Thursday morning I had very light pink bleeding that continued until Saturday when I started my regular period. The next day, I started my BC as I should have but by Friday I had the worst side effects of my life. I had SEVERE mood swings and that never happens to me and I've also had the very light pink bleeding since my normal period stopped. I stopped taking the pill last night and tonight because it was too much to handle so should I still be having these side effects? My hands are so swollen today that my ring got stuck...what is going on? I didn't think I took it long enough for all of these crazy things to be happening...?
p.s. I took pregnancy tests during the time I was late so I think that is ruled out.

Not sure I'm following. You say you would have started your new BC on January 30? But then it sounds like you started your pill the following week?
I had a similar reaction to the pill that kicked in within days. Some of us are severely intolerant to synthetic hormones.
My symptoms eased up over the course of the next week or two after I stopped taking it.
