Can you ovulate before getting your first period?!

Question: Can you ovulate before getting your first period?
So as of 3 days ago I started to have like...white stuff coming out of "down there" and as of a few months ago I still had it but now its like long and like a string or something. I asked a question on here earlier about what people thought it was and some said they think I could be ovulating but I haven't had my first period yet. I'm 13 years old and of course, a virgin. Could I be ovulating or if not what is it???

Answers:

if you did not have yet your first period, it means you are just having "Puberty Discharge" - discover all about it and about ovulation in links

Yes you ovulate before getting your first period. That's what your period is. It is NOT a yeast infection. Look up what your period is if you don't understand it but yes you are fertile and can make a baby a few weeks before getting your period. Without producing an egg there is no period.

This sounds like a yeast infection. Go see a Dr.
