Its alright, girl just chill out! :)
Okay so unfortunatly there is no way that you can stop your period at all but i completely understand your feelings. I hated using pads because i could always feel blood coming out. I thought I was too small for tampons too, but it turned out that I was doing it wrong! Trust me, once you use a tampon, your life will be a million times better. Before you start saying you cant do it, take it from me, i cried everytime i thought about using one when I first had my period lol. I thought that I was messed up down there and that I could never ever use tampons but I was wrong. I promise you if you follow these tips, you will successfully get in a tampon.
Tips:
1. Read the directions on the paper that should have come with the box of tampons if you dont know what to do with the parts of the tampon or whatever haha :)
2. Make sure you are inserting in the right place (if you cant find it, look with a mirror) and insert the tampon at a diagonal. Dont go straight up! If it hurts, you are either inserting it at the wrong angle or in the wrong place.
3. KEEP TRYING! I went through a whole box of tampons before I got it in. Once it was in, I was extremely relieved.
4. Try wetting the entire plastic part of the tampon with water! This is how i got mine in, it slipped right in! I promise this will work :)
5. When it comes time to take it out, DONT PULL STRAIGHT DOWN. It will hurt if you do that! Make sure you pull it out at the angle that you put it in.
6. Have a happy period! Lol like those cheesy tampon and pad commercials say.

I really hope this helps! Good luck!

Honestly, periods are as good as you make them...your issue is not your periods but your attitude towards your periods, once you learn how to deal with them you'll be able to enjoy the positives.

Get a menstrual cup for gods sake - why on earth would you use tampons?! They're unhealthy and inconvenient as they can't be used half of your period like when your flow is light or overnight, and they leak like crazy...really it's 2011, no one with any sense uses them any more. Get cups they go into your vagina like tampons but don't cause TSS or infections, they don't make you stink like tampons or pads and no increased cramps either...hell cups can lessen cramps and flow...they can be worn with any flow and overnight, for up to 12 hours which is twice as much as tampons, and they don't leak like tampons or pads either so far better.

Your vagina is made to allow a whole human being to pass through it...obviously your vagina isn't too small for something like a tampon! Seriously, learn a little more about your body and periods, then you will know how to handle your period, you're making yourself hate your period for no reason!

People say, i'm to small for a tampon. No ones to small really. Don't be scared just do it, you'll feel better you did and use a pad to make sure you know all the ups and downs of a tampon though. They can be dangerous if not managed hourly. I know how you feel about periods. 13 here as well, got mine like three days ago...yeah it sucks i don't know why everyone so happy they get theirs. I hate it, why couldn't mines come later, yeah some birth control limits you're periods but i don't know if you're mom would agree since you have a boy friend and all but never hurts to ask.
