Answers:

I'm a girl by the way. I'm 13, too. I've had my period since I was 11 and a half. Mine keeps coming later and later too. In the summer it always came the first of the month, but it slowly worked it way to the middle/end of the month. I am supposed to get mine later this week. I never know when it is going to come, but I know that I always get a headache theday before I get it. I think it is normal and that we are going through puberty, so our bodies are changing. So I think nothing is wrong. Some adult women also have irregular periods. Hope I helped :)

Where your body is fairly new to this change, having your menstrual cycles, this could change over time, and be more regular, or you may be one of those females who's periods will be irregular. Only a little time will tell. Either way there is nothing to worry about. Both ways are normal. When I was in my early twenties, I lived in a neighborhood where I was friends with 3 or 4 girls, and we all had our periods the same time. I thought this was very weird. But, I learned that this is Menstrual Synchrony. It was scientific, called the McClintock Effect. Your perfectly normal, there is nothing to worry about. This is the same for millions of females. God Bless

The date changes because some months have more days in them that others. You cannot keep track of your period based on the date on the calendar. You need to count the days. The first day of your period is Day 1 of your cycle. The next time you start is also Day 1. The number of days in between is the length of your cycle - 21 days, 28 days (average), 30+ days.

your cycle is going to be irregular while you are young, it usually settles down after about 2-3 years.
and it sounds like you have a shorter cycle than 28 days, which is fine. 28 days is only the average. so yours might be every 20 days. it is better to count days, not days of the month.

Even though people say that it comes the same time every month, for most girls it doesn't. It's suppose to regulate after a few years.
But I'm 18, I got mine when I was 11. & it still is just random for me.

When you're young, it's likely your periods will be irregular. it can take a few years to even out and be regular.. ive had mine for 4 years and sometimes it is still kind of random and irregular.
