STOP USING SOAP!

Your vagina is self-cleaning so needs nothing more than water and your hands wiping between your labia to stay clean, using anything chemical to wash with such as soap is very bad for vaginal health - as well as drying out vaginal/vulva mucosa soap will kill off healthy bacteria and effect vaginal pH which is responsible for keeping a healthy balance between 'good' and 'bad' bacteria.

The same goes for so-called 'feminine' washes, wipes, and sprays - even if they claim to be pH balanced they cannot possibly be balanced to each woman's individual vaginal pH, and your vaginal pH changes throughout your cycle too, so again it will negatively effect pH causing odour and risking infections. These products are made to make money from women's insecurities, they're not healthy.

No douching either - as well as effecting vaginal pH douching is also harmful as it strips the vaginal walls of moisture it needs to stay healthy so risks vaginal walls becoming damaged meaning increased risk of STD's, and it can force harmful bacteria deeper into the vagina leading to PID.

As long as you're healthy your vagina will not smell bad.
Your vagina is supposed to smell like a vagina, musky but clean, and that smell will change throughout your menstrual cycle as a result of hormonal changes, it will only smell bad if there is an infection or an issue with bacterial balance. If worried about smell then see your doctor to test for infections such as bacterial vaginosis, if there is no infection that will confirm you're fine.

Keeping a healthy diet helps, also good hygiene - wash daily with water only, avoid wearing pantiliners, if you use pads go for cotton or cloth brands, if you use tampons switch to softcups or menstrual cups, avoid tight-fitting or synthetic clothing, walk about often to help air flow to your genitals, wipe front to back, and practice safe sex.

Sex can cause odour because semen is alkaline pH where as your vagina is acidic pH - your vagina cannot adjust fast enough to the sudden change in vaginal pH caused by semen so the bacterial balance is thrown-off temporarily. If using condoms, lubricants, etc. then try different brands.

Some women find the problem is worse with certain men simply because just as women have different vaginal pH, different men can have different semen pH - changes to their diet and your diet can help too as this can slightly change pH of both your vagina and his semen. If it is a problem then you can either wash your vulva after sex with warm water and occasionally a few drops of tea tree oil diluted in water - just keep a jug by the toilet to fill with warm water and rinse over your genitals while you sit on the toilet, or use condoms to avoid semen entering your vagina.

First mak sure u don't hav an infection lik bacterial vaginosis so mak a docters appt..secondly never douche to try an smell "fresh"..don't use perfumed soaps or n e thing lik that either.ur vagina cleans itself..so if u shower daily an wear clean panties u should b fine..the odor may b all in ur head..every womans vagina has its own natural healthy odor.
