Question: NOT GROWING!! I am a 15 year old girl who is 146.5cm (approximately 4.8ft I think). I haven't had a growth sp?
I sleep approximately 7-9 hours each day and I exercise for approximately thirty minutes a day. I also drink lots of milk and fruits and vegetables. By all rights I should be growing...right?? :S I really need to know if this is abnormal and if there is a possiblilty that I will still grow. If anyone knows anything that will help me then please respond!!

P.S.: If it helps, I am of asian descent and my parents are 5.10ft (Dad) and 5.1ft (mum).

being ASIAN right there should give you an indication that you are done growing. In addition, you would stop growing at the age of 15, the likelihood of growth spurts decrease with each passing year until the age of 15 for females and 17 for males. However, there are anomalies that exceed that average such as the famous basketball star in Dennis Rodman who didnt receive a growth spurt until he entered college.

I would say to keep your hopes up for one more year, but since you have asian blood, I would say call it a night kid, and cry yourself to sleep

med school

To give full play to the high potential for long, it should eat more vegetables and high protein food and high-quality protein foods and calcium-rich foods and zinc-rich foods. To prevent the partial eclipse. Guaranteed rest time and quality. Take part in physical exercise. I suggest you go to hospital for a check epiphyseal line areas, epiphyseal line will be closed if not completely closed the case for short-term use of growth hormone. But it must now seize the time. Be missed! If you use too early may result in premature closure of epiphyseal final height ah.

Some people are just destined to be short, I know a girl who's about your height and her dad is in the 6 foot range. Depending on how developed you are depends on your height. Normally you should be about or around as tall as your mother. However, there are certain things such as caffeine and alcohol which stunt growth. Generally speaking, those who descend from the orient (such as myself) are a bit shorter than most. So it may be just genetics. If all other growth is halted, such as breast tissue and constant hormone levels, it could mean a slowing of growth. However, technically speaking we never stop growing. :-)

Well asians are usually short. Im a 17 year old asian, and im only 5'2. im pretty much done. :| You on the other hand have about 3 years to grow. You could be a late bloomer. And there are multivitamins that help you grow, but usually they're taken at younger ages. Stuff like cherifer are for growing teens.

People wont really care about your height that much anyways. :)

well once you have your period for 2 years you stop growing so your probably done...

idk but im am 163cm and im 11 lol
