I went to my cousins Annie party, and i was drinking with one of her Friends. I then asked her to leave with me to a more hidden spot to smoke & drink and she said OK. We were talking for about 20 min deep and i then asked for her number. She then said some like "Really my phone is about to get cut-off but Annie is going to have my new number get it from her since you see her often". After this i was quite (Lost) & once the Joint was done she said i'm go back to the party.

Was this a rejection?.. P.S. I don't think i'm ugly i had women hit on me before.

Ask your cousin Annie to ask the girl, is it OK to give her number to you?or better yet tell your cousin that you want to ask her out on a date.Then you will have your answer.But you have to look at it from her point of view.If, she went out with you and it didn't work out then;her friendship with your cousin could be disrupt.More the less all of you should hang out more,to get to know one other.This is my best advice,good luck.

Yes it sounds like a rejection, but I could be wrong. If your cousin gives you her number and it doesn't work then that's definitely a rejection.

All she said was to get her new number from your cousin. Why is that so odd? Quit over thinking it.
