Doctors and birth conrol? ?!

Question: Doctors and birth conrol? ?
I have never had regular periods and I'm 19 years old. I have been talking to my mom about going to the doctor to start on birth control but I would like to know about the process and the questions the doctor ask you.

Mine just went through the different kinds, like oral contraceptive (pills), IUD's like Mirena which they put inside of your vagina, or the Depo Shot which I HIGHLY suggest not getting! It was an absolute nightmare. But yeah, they will just tell you the different kinds and ask which you think would be best, they might ask if you would like some samples if you choose pills. Then depending on which you choose they will go into further details. They usually don't ask really personal questions, if you're afraid of that.

He will ask a couple of questions like what are your periods like ? Do you have any family history of certain illness like bloodclots and stuff he will also ask the reason for the pill like because your sexually active/periods etc he will aslo take your blood pressure too and thats pretty much it !
