So I've considered thinking about going on the pill because of heavy, long painful periods that sometimes don't come for three months! It's a complete nightmare
I'm 14 so it's no for contraceptive reasons
What are some side affects of the pill ? I know it's not pleasant - headaches, increased appetite etc. But anything would be better than this
Does it make your boobs grow faster (btw I come from a family where all the women a large breasted lol so it's there in the genes)
Or does it go to your butt?
I heard it contains oestrogen? Explain please I'm so confused lol

Birth control can go either way: for some you gain weight, for others you lose. The stronger your dosage the stronger the side effects will be. With me I gained a little bit of weight, but it wasn't a lot. A little bit of weight was okay because the birth control helped me so much in controlling the heaviness, length and the pains from my period.
I would talk to your doctor about the different kinds and the side effects for each. You can also do an internet search for different brands and read up on their side effects. Good luck!
