hello, im not on my period because there irregular. i want to take the contraceptive pill in hope it will regulate my period. what will happen if i take it for the first time while not on my period?

Did a doctor prescribe the pill? If so you should probably follow their directions. It won't hurt anything to start them before your period comes. I'm not as sure as the previous answerer though that you'll get a period in your first break week. I think it may take time to regulate.
nothing will happen, you just might get some spotting when period is due but then it will definately arrive on your pill free week x
