There are a few signs you can look for but it varies for every woman. Typically you can experience bloating, fatigue, mood swings, cramps, tenderness on your breasts, heavy discharge, etc. Any of those signs could lead to you getting your period very shortly, but others don't experience those signs at all. So it all varies.

It is different for everyone. Some girls work like clock work and don't notice, unfortunately I'm not one of them. The monthly cycle lasts from 28-32 days (that is from start of one period and the start of the next). I've noticed the longer between periods the more noticeable the pre-period symptoms are. For me I know my period is coming when I start getting cramps in my lower belly and back. 3-5 days in advance I get really moody. Also, my breasts feel tender or a little sore, nothing painful, it's just that I notice them for some reason. I notice that I feel a little flushed and warmer in general a day or two before I begin as well.
I know this is weird too, but when I was a young teen I would always dream that I started my period and it would start that day.
Again, every body is different! You may or may not have these symptoms, just pay attention to your body and you will notice the changes that come before your period.

in most cases first period can come after one year after puberty discharge starts - but you can check in link below

The signs differ for everyone. When mine came, I had no actual "warning". I didn't feel any cramps or mood swings prior to my first period. It just came.

You will know that your period is coming when blood starts coming out of your vagina

you will feel very bloated and have alot of discharge you will get cramps and thats just the egg moving...in other words u will feel like crap! lol
