Question: I am positive I'm not pregnant, so what else could make my period 3 weeks late?

I've had a tubal ligation 8 years ago and my periods have always been irregular but they are usually too often, not, not often enough. I cant really afford to go to the doctor if its nothing serious, any thoughts or ideas?

I agree with lady, but weight gain could also cause your period to be late along with hormonal changes and certain types of cancers.
